Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable, qualified candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.

Detailed Position Requirements

1. AM (KPT Desk)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Qualification: BE (Mechanical / Naval Architecture) and must be PEC-registered.

• Experience: More than 3 years of experience in ship repair estimation, planning, and managing client relationships.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

2. AM (Mechanical)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Qualification: B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution.

• Preferred Skills: Strong understanding of ship repair processes, dry-docking operations, maintenance/operations of mechanical machinery marine systems, fabrication activities, and knowledge of QHSE regulations.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

3. AM (Electrical)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Qualification: B.Tech / DAE (Electrical) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution.

• Preferred Skills: Understanding of ship repair processes, electrical maintenance/operations of marine systems activities, and knowledge of QHSE regulations.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

4. AM (Hull)

• No. of Posts: 01

• Qualification: B.Tech / DAE (Hull / Construction) from a recognized institution.

• Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in ship repair, shipyard operations, marine engineering, or project execution.

• Preferred Skills: Understanding of ship repair processes, dry-docking operations, marine systems, fabrication activities, and knowledge of QHSE regulations.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

5. Supervisor (Technical)

• No. of Posts: 03

• Qualification: B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical / Welding) or equivalent.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a shipyard or marine environment.

• Preferred Skills: Proven experience in managing hot work (welding, fabrication) and electrical projects.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

6. Fireman

• No. of Posts: 21

• Qualification: Matric, preferably Intermediate.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the relevant field.

• Preferred Skills: Candidates having a Fire Fighting Training / Course will be preferred.

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

7. AC Technician

• No. of Posts: 01

• Qualification: Middle / Matric.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in maintenance & troubleshooting of Air Conditioning systems.

• Preferred Skills: Candidates having a relevant trade course certification will be preferred.

• Age Limit: Up to 35 years.
