Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking suitable, competent, and dynamic candidates for appointment to the following positions on a contract basis.

1. Management & Supervisory Positions

Deputy Manager (DM) - Ship Design 02 55 Years

• BE / B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

 

• Minimum 05 years of experience for BE candidates OR 10–15 years for B.Tech / DAE candidates in a similar role within a shipyard or marine environment.

 

• Must have hands-on experience in shipbuilding design and planning.

Supervisor

 

(Machinery Outfitting)

 02 45 Years

• B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

 

• Minimum 05–10 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a shipyard or marine environment.

 

• Hands-on experience in shipbuilding erection, assembly, and commissioning of ships will be preferred.

Supervisor

 

(Ship Planning)

 02 45 Years

• B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

 

• Minimum 05–10 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a shipyard.

 

• Candidates with project management skills and proficiency in MS Office will be preferred.

Supervisor

 

(Pipe Shop)

 01 45 Years

• B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent.

 

• Minimum 05–10 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within a shipyard environment.
Technical Assistant 01 45 Years

• DAE (Mechanical) or equivalent.

 

• Minimum 02 to 03 years of experience in the relevant field.

 

• Understanding of engineering drawings, hands-on experience with MS Office, and good communication skills will be preferred.
 

2. Technical, Skilled & Support Trades

For all trades below (unless specified otherwise), the maximum age limit is 45 years, and the required experience is a minimum of 02–03 years in the relevant field. Candidates holding a relevant trade course/certificate will be preferred.

USL (Unskilled Labor) 01 Metric Candidates who are fully aware of Industrial Safety Rules will be preferred.
