As part of its strategic transformation, the Bank is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated professional for a senior leadership role in Information Technology based in Karachi.
Position Details
Divisional Head – Strategy, Risk & Governance (SVP/EVP)
?? Location: Karachi
?? Reporting To: Group Chief / Deputy Chief Technology Officer
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
OR
- Graduation with a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent
- Degree must be from an institution recognized by the Higher Education Commission
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in:
- IT Governance
- Risk Management
- Internal Controls / Compliance / Audit
- Proven experience with IT governance frameworks, models, and enterprise architecture
- Strong exposure to Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), project governance, and regulatory compliance
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and strategic planning abilities
- Expertise in IT Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance
- Experience in:
- Enterprise Architecture frameworks
- Disaster recovery & business continuity
- IT policy development and compliance programs
- Ability to manage large-scale IT projects, budgets, and performance metrics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage IT Governance frameworks aligned with organizational strategy
- Oversee risk management, compliance, and internal controls
- Lead enterprise-level project and program governance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards
- Develop and maintain IT policies, processes, and performance metrics
- Manage IT budgeting, financial governance, and resource planning
- Drive automation and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead team performance, capability development, and workforce planning
- Conduct gap analysis and implement best practices across the organization
Employment Details
- Contract-based position: 3 years (extendable at management’s discretion)
