CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates for appointment to the following position purely on merit.

1. Available Position

Director Legal (SPS-11)

Maximum Age: 45 Years

Minimum Qualification

  • LLB or equivalent degree, and

  • LLM / Bar-at-Law or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Higher qualifications in relevant legal fields will be considered an added advantage.

  • Membership of the Pakistan Bar Council enabling practice in the High Courts/Supreme Court is mandatory.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification legal experience, including:

    • Drafting, vetting, and reviewing laws, rules, and legal documents.

    • Handling litigation before the High Courts and/or Supreme Court.

    • Providing legal advisory services to government, autonomous bodies, regulatory organizations, or similar institutions.

2. Terms & Conditions

i. Appointment shall be made on a one-year contract, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
ii. Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan. Candidates who previously applied for this position are required to apply afresh.
iii. Applications must include:

  • Two (02) recent passport-size photographs

  • One set of attested academic credentials and experience certificates

  • A brief, updated Curriculum Vitae (CV)

  • All documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope
    iv. Clearly mention the name of the post on the top right corner of the envelope.
    v. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews.
    vi. Age relaxation will be applicable as per PM&DC policy, subject to the candidate’s qualification and experience.
    vii. Applicants currently serving in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel.
    viii. The decision of the appointing authority regarding shortlisting and appointment shall be final and cannot be challenged.
    ix. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the test/interview.
    x. The Competent Authority reserves the right to cancel or postpone the recruitment process at any stage.
    xi. The last date for submitting applications is within 30 days from the publication of this notice.
