The Capital Development Authority (CDA) invites online applications from suitable candidates on merit for the following posts, strictly on a contract basis (initially for 2 years), as per the qualifications, experience, and age limits mentioned below:

Available Positions

1. Director General (Islamabad Water) – PPS-10

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (1st Class, PEC-recognized)

    • Master’s (1st Class) in Urban Water Utility Management / Sanitary / PHE / Environmental Engineering

  • Experience:

    • 17 years managerial experience in the relevant field

    • Preference: Experience in reputed public/private Urban Water Utility organizations

  • Other Requirements:

    • PEC Registration mandatory

    • Higher qualification preferred

  • Age Limit: 45 + 5 = 50 years

2. Director (Admin/HR/Law) – PPS-9

  • Qualification:

    • Master’s (1st Class) in Public / Business Administration / Administrative Sciences

    • LLB/LLM preferred

  • Experience:

    • 12 years in a managerial post (BPS-17 equivalent or above)

    • Preference: Experience in water utility management

  • Age Limit: 40 + 5 = 45 years

3. Director (Planning & Development) – PPS-9

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering (1st Class, PEC-recognized)

    • Master’s (1st Class) in Urban Water Utility Management / Sanitary / PHE / Environment

  • Experience:

    • 12 years in field and managerial roles (BPS-17 equivalent)

    • Preference: Urban water utility experience

  • Other Requirements:

    • PEC Registration mandatory

    • Higher qualification preferred

  • Age Limit: 40 + 5 = 45 years

4. Director (Civil) – PPS-9

  • Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s in Civil/Mechanical/Environment Engineering (1st Class, PEC-recognized)

    • Master’s (1st Class) in Water Management / Sanitary / PHE / Environmental Engineering

  • Experience:

    • 12 years in both fieldwork and managerial positions (BPS-17 or above)

  • Other Requirements:

    • PEC Registration mandatory

    • Higher qualification preferred

  • Age Limit: 40 + 5 = 45 years

5. Director (Finance & Revenue) – PPS-9

  • Qualification:

    • CA / ACCA / ACMA or equivalent

    • Or Master’s (1st Class) in Finance / Commerce / Accounting / Economics

  • Experience:

    • 7 years for CA/ACCA/ACMA

    • 12 years for Master’s degree holders in a responsible position in Govt. or reputable organization

  • Preference: Higher degree holders

  • Age Limit: 40 + 5 = 45 years

  • CDA reserves the right to cancel, increase, or decrease the number of posts.

  • All positions are contractual and do not guarantee regular appointment.

  • Shortlisted candidates only will be called for tests/interviews.

  • No TA/DA will be admissible.

  • Bring original documents and attested copies at the time of the interview.

  • Government employees must provide NOC from their current department.
