PUNJAB MUNICIPAL DEVELOPMENT FUND COMPANY

POSITION AVAILABLE

PMDFC has been supporting local governments to build Water Supply, Sewerage & Drainage, in Sewerage & Drainage infrastructures in cities of Punjab. PMDFC is seeking the services of qualified, experienced and dynamic professional against the following position for Punjab Inclusive Cities Program (PICP).

Sr. # Position Required Qualification & Experience
1. Deputy Program Director (WASA Coordination)
Gross Monthly Salary (Rs. 568,750/-)

Qualification:

  • BE/ BSc in Civil Engineering preferably a higher degree from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience in relevant field preferably of donor funded project.
  • Ten years of experience in similar projects including fix in Project Management.
  • Knowledge of World Bank procedures will be added advantage.
  • Should be a member of the PEC.

Job Description:

  • Report to Program Director in the Program activities, Managing the priority to the PICP target objectives for cities (Chawal & different forums).
  • Coordination with WASA in vicinity city and assist and master PICP.
  • Problem solving active implementing the technical techniques, project planning and completion of the subprojects.
  • Ensure the compliance and implementation of rules and regulation with different Governments per the loan Agencies.
  • Coordinate with Consultants equipped with PICP activities activities.
  • Facilitate the World Bank mission activities.
  • Provide technical leadership in planning, design, implementation and drainage and penetration of water supply related for their respective in the city.
  • Monitor the execution of project sets to compliance with approved standards, quantity standards and environmental safeguards.
  • Develop and educate strategic plans, matrices, and policies for sustainable water supply, in line with provincial utility, sewerage and drainage development goals.
  • Prepare advisory technical reports, progress reports and policies to environmentally sustainable practices and wastewater management.
  • Review and recommend consultant invoices to PDs for payment. Perform in line with departmental authorities for urban services improvement.

Maximum age limit is 65 years.
