?? Position: DEAN (Contract Basis)
Location: Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Institution: Medical Teaching Institution (MTI), Mardan
The Medical Teaching Institution Mardan invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and visionary professionals for the position of Dean at Bacha Khan Medical College, Mardan. The appointment will be on a contract basis, governed under the MTI Act 2015 (as amended).
?? Eligibility Criteria:
The ideal candidate will be a distinguished medical academic with the following qualifications and experience:
Educational Qualification:
Ph.D in a relevant field
OR
MBBS or equivalent, plus a higher diploma such as:
FCPS
FRCP
FRCS
US Board Certification or equivalent
Professional Standing:
National and preferably international recognition in their field (basic or clinical sciences)
Minimum of 7 years administrative experience as Head of:
A department
A unit
A program
An institution
Core Competencies:
Proven leadership qualities
A strong track record in teaching
Commitment to medical education and research
????? Role Responsibilities:
Serve as Head of the Medical College
Oversee all undergraduate and postgraduate medical teaching
Lead research initiatives
Responsible for budgetary and financial matters related to the medical school
Report directly to the Board of Governors
?? Important Notes:
Any attempt to influence the selection committee will result in automatic disqualification
The selection committee's decision shall be final, subject to approval by the Board of Governors
