HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

VACANT POSITIONS

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following senior administrative positions in the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) across Punjab.

A. Controller of Examinations

Boards:
Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi

---

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: MA / MSc (16 years of education)
  (Candidates possessing higher qualifications will be preferred)

• The applicant must have at least one (01) year of verifiable administrative experience

• Candidates with experience of working in an examination body will be given preference

• Must have at least one year of service left before retirement on the closing date of applications

• Eligible candidates include:

  • Civil Servants including those from APUG / Federal Directorate of Education (FDE)

  • Officers of the Government of Punjab working in BS-18 / BS-19

  • Employees of Public Sector Organizations, including Higher Education Institutions, in BS-18 / BS-19

Tenure & Pay

• Tenure: Two (02) years or till the pleasure of the Competent Authority, subject to satisfactory performance (evaluated annually)

• Pay & Allowances:

  • A special “Officers Allowance” equal to one initial basic pay, in addition to pay and other admissible allowances

  • Officers from PAS/PSP will continue to draw 150% incentive allowance of their running basic pay and will also be entitled to Officers Allowance during posting

• Terms and conditions of service shall be governed by the Punjab Deputation Policy, 1998 (as amended)

B. Secretary, Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education

Boards:
Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum qualification: MA / MSc or equivalent (16 years of education)
  (Higher qualifications will be preferred)

• Minimum one (01) year of verifiable administrative / management experience

• Candidates with administrative-cum-management experience will be preferred

• Must have at least one year of service remaining before retirement on the closing date

• Eligible candidates include:

  • Civil Servants including APUG / FDE officers

  • Government of Punjab officers in BS-18 / BS-19

  • Employees of Public Sector Organizations, including Higher Education Institutions, in BS-18 / BS-19

• Candidates who have already completed two tenures on the same post are not eligible to apply

• Tenure: Three (03) years or till the pleasure of the Competent Authority, subject to satisfactory annual performance

• Pay & Allowances:

  • Special “Officers Allowance” equal to one initial basic pay, in addition to regular pay and allowances

  • PAS/PSP officers will continue to receive 150% incentive allowance along with Officers Allowance

• Terms and conditions shall be regulated under the Punjab Deputation Policy, 1998 (as amended)

6. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent department
