HIGHER EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

VACANT POSITIONS

Position: Chairperson, Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE)

Locations:
Bahawalpur, D.G. Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Multan, Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Sargodha

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:

    • Minimum M.A. / M.Sc. or equivalent (16 years of education)

    • Candidates with higher qualifications will be preferred

  2. Age Limit:

    • Less than 56 years on the closing date of application submission

  3. Domicile:

    • Must hold a Punjab domicile

  4. Professional Eligibility:
    Candidates must be either:
    a. Civil Servant, including those from APUG / Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Government of Punjab, working in BS-19/20 or above
    OR
    b. Employee of a public sector organization, including higher education institutions, in BS-19/20 or above

  5. Experience:

    • Minimum 03 years of verifiable non-teaching, managerial, or administrative experience

    • Experience of working in an examination body will be preferred

Tenure & Pay

  • Tenure: Three (03) years or till the pleasure of the Controlling Authority, subject to satisfactory annual performance evaluation

  • Pay & Allowances:

    • Special “Chairman BISE Allowance” equal to one initial basic pay, in addition to pay and other admissible allowances

    • PAS / PMS Officers: Continue to draw Executive Allowance 150% of running basic pay, plus Chairman BISE Allowance during posting

    • Other Officers: Entitled to Chairman BISE Allowance in addition to regular pay & allowances

  • Terms & Conditions: As per Punjab Deputation Policy, 1998 (as amended from time to time)

  5. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the parent department

  6. Three recent passport-size photographs

  7. Any other document as required
