Position Details

• Position Title: Chief Supply Chain Management Officer
• Number of Positions: 01
• Contract Duration:
  • 3 years (extendable once based on performance)
  • Maximum age limit during tenure: 65 years
• Location: MEPCO Headquarters, Multan
• Reporting To: CEO / Board of Directors

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will:

• Develop and implement supply chain strategy aligned with organizational vision and Board directives
• Ensure procurement processes comply with PPRA Rules and MEPCO policies
• Lead procurement of equipment, supplies, and services
• Oversee inventory management and logistics operations for efficient distribution
• Ensure effective use of ERP systems for supply chain optimization
• Coordinate with department heads to improve operational efficiency
• Regularly update supply chain frameworks in line with business and economic dynamics

Qualification & Experience

• Education:
  • Minimum 16 years of education (MBA/MS in Supply Chain)
  • Degree must be recognized by HEC
• Additional Certifications:
  • Professional certifications in supply chain management (preferred)
• Experience:
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Experience in large national/multinational or public sector organizations

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 62 years (at closing date)
• No age relaxation allowed

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Rs. 0.8 – 1 million per month (negotiable)
• Additional benefits and allowances as per company policy for C-level executives
• Annual performance evaluation by the Board

Note:

• The position is contract-based
• Non-pensionable
• No long-term or permanent employment benefits
