Hiring of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer

Organization: Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO)

Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / Board of Directors (BOD)

Employment Type: Contractual (Purely temporary, non-pensionable, with no long-term permanent conversion benefits)

### Position Overview

### Job Description & Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop MEPCO’s supply chain strategy aligned with the organizational vision and directions from the CEO and Board Committees.

• Procurement Management: Lead the procurement teams to acquire equipment, supplies, and services effectively while strictly complying with PPRA Rules and MEPCO procurement practices.

• Logistics & Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management and logistics to ensure efficient, cost-effective distribution of equipment and supplies to other technical/departmental teams.

• Digital Integration: Optimize supply chain execution using MEPCO’s internal ERP system.

• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with other department heads to maximize supply chain efficiency and periodically update frameworks to align with macro-economic dynamics.

### Qualification & Experience Requirements

• Education: 16-years Degree (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.

• Certifications: Professional courses or certifications in supply chain management from reputable national/international institutes will be a strong plus.

• Professional Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.

• Leadership Experience: At least two (2) years must be in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Department or equivalent strategic position) within a large-scale public sector, national, multinational, or corporate organization.

### General Eligibility Criteria & Disqualifications

• Age Limit: Upper age limit is 62 years at the time of the closing date (no further relaxation allowed).

• Nationality: Must be a Pakistani citizen.

• Exclusions: Candidates with a criminal record, history of financial fraud, misconduct, willful defaults, or those dismissed/compulsorily retired from any previous service are strictly disqualified.

### Important Compliance Guidelines

Mandatory Affidavits & Documents

Selected or prospective candidates must provide the following on Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper:

1. No Conflict of Interest: Declaration of no external business conflicts and non-involvement/conviction in any FIA or NAB cases.

2. Service Verification: Declaration affirming no prior termination from service and no political affiliation.

3. Fit & Proper Criteria: Compliance declaration under Schedule IV of the SOE (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023, and Companies Act, 2017.

4. Police Verification: A valid Police Verification Certificate must be attached to the application.

• Government/Semi-Government Employees: Must apply through the proper channel with an official NOC issued on the parent department's letterhead. If selected, the candidate must resign or retire from their parent service prior to joining (No lien admissible).

• Foreign Degrees: Must provide an HEC Equivalence Certificate.
