Position Titles:

Contract Term: 3 years (extendable once, subject to performance and age limit not exceeding 65 years)

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Law (LL.B is mandatory; LL.M or Barrister-at-Law is an added advantage)
Licensure: Licensed Advocate of the High Court (Mandatory)
Experience:
At least 15 years of post-qualification legal experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role as Head of the Legal Affairs Department in a large-scale national or multinational organization, ideally in the public sector.
Proven track record in managing corporate legal teams, dispute resolution, regulatory matters, and strategic advisory roles to the CEO and Board.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
Comprehensive command over corporate, commercial, labor, regulatory, civil, and criminal laws.
Strong understanding of NEPRA, SECP, PPRA, SOE Act 2023, and Companies Act 2017.
Expertise in drafting complex legal instruments such as MoUs, PPAs, contracts, and litigation.
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to provide preventive legal guidance and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, with expertise in legal drafting and presentations.
Ethical leadership with the ability to manage sensitive legal matters under high pressure.
Chief Information Technology & Systems (CIT&S)
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Minimum 16 years of education in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field from a recognized university. A Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., CIO, CTO, DG IT), managing enterprise-level IT operations, preferably in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sector.
Essential Skills & Competencies:
Proven leadership experience in managing large-scale IT organizations and successfully delivering complex digital transformation initiatives.
Expertise in IT operations, automation, and enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle).
Strong capabilities in data governance, data analytics, and business intelligence tools.
Up-to-date with global industry trends, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with IT-related legal frameworks, especially those related to corporate law, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
Age Limit:
Upper Age Limit: 62 years as on the closing date of the application. No further relaxation will be granted under any circumstances.
Remuneration:
A market-competitive salary package (Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,000,000 per month or more), commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with additional benefits.
Annual performance appraisal will be conducted by the MEPCO Board of Directors.
Contractual Position: Non-pensionable, no long-term benefits.
