CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Position: Chief Internal Auditor
Organization: Pakistan Reinsurance Company Limited (PRCL)


Eligibility Criteria

Education and Experience

Applicants must fulfill one of the following:

Option 1:

  • Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA).

  • MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international university/institute.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:

    • Auditing and risk management,

    • Designing internal control procedures,

    • Ensuring effective compliance and financial reliability,

    • Particularly in public/private sectors with emphasis on SOEs or public sector projects.

Option 2:

  • Master’s degree in Finance from an HEC-recognized university.

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in:

    • Audit,

    • Finance,

    • Compliance functions.

Additional Preferred Certifications and Experience

Candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • Certifications:

    • Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)

    • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

    • Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA)

  • Experience/Expertise:

    • Implementation of IFRS 17.

    • Key officer experience (auditor, finance, or compliance) in the insurance industry.

    • Experience working in the public sector.

    • Knowledge of public procurement and PPRA Rules/Regulations.

    • Exposure to ERP environments.

  • Maximum age: 57 years on the closing date of applications.
