Career Opportunity – Chief Executive Officer (Re-Advertisement)

The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) is a State-Owned Enterprise / Public Sector Company dedicated to providing grants for projects that enhance Pakistan’s resilience to climatic and natural hazards. NDRMF strengthens the government’s capacity to respond rapidly to disasters and promotes sustainable Disaster Risk Management (DRM) practices.

NDRMF invites applications from vibrant, qualified, and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on a performance-based contract, offering a competitive market-based salary package and excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Position Details

Position Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Qualification - Minimum Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Disaster Management, Environmental Sciences, Natural Resource Management, Insurance, or Social Sciences from an HEC-recognized institution
- OR membership of a recognized professional accounting body
Experience - Minimum 20 years of professional experience after meeting the minimum qualification
- At least 5 years in a top leadership role in a large public sector enterprise, financial institution/fund, or reputable private organization
- Experience in fund mobilization, management, donor financing, or development finance, preferably in DRR, DRM, Climate Finance, or Climate Change Adaptation/Mitigation
- Track record of engagement with multilateral/bilateral donors (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UN agencies, etc.)
- International exposure in resource mobilization, fund management, or development programs is preferred
Key Competencies - Strategic & Visionary Abilities: Ability to define and implement short-term, long-term, and annual business plans with measurable KPIs
- Resource Mobilization: Demonstrated success in fundraising and mobilizing resources from donors and private sector
- Project & Operational Leadership: Extensive experience in planning, managing, and executing projects in large organizations
- Fund & Resource Management: Expertise in managing large funds for DRM, DRR, or Climate Finance projects
- Donor Engagement: Strong relationships with international donor agencies
- Policy & Governance Knowledge: Understanding of national and international development policies, frameworks, and compliance
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Ability to negotiate, build alliances, and communicate with government, private sector, and international organizations
- Leadership & Strategic Partnerships: Proven track record in organizational transformation, public representation, and partnership-building
Age Limit Maximum 62 years as of 31st October 2025
Term Fixed non-extendable term of 3 years
Salary Market-based, negotiable package according to qualifications and experience
