The National Disaster Risk Management Fund (NDRMF) invites applications from dynamic and suitably qualified professionals for two Islamabad-based positions in the role described below.

2. Position Details

Position Title

Assistant Manager – GIS Developer / Modeling Expert (Two positions)

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold one of the following degrees in a relevant discipline:

• Bachelor's degree, or

• Master's degree, or

• PhD

Eligible Disciplines:

• Geoinformatics

• GIS and Remote Sensing

• Computer Science

• Geology / Geosciences

• Software Engineering

• Any related discipline

Required Experience

• Minimum: Four (04) years of relevant experience.

• Relevant fields include:

  • Full-stack WebGIS development

  • Spatial data engineering

  • Hazard modeling

  • Numerical simulations

  • Remote sensing analytics

Advantageous Experience (considered an asset):

• Disaster risk modeling

• Public or development-sector platforms

• Cloud-based geospatial infrastructure

• Multi-hazard risk assessment frameworks

Tenure

• Duration: 3 years

• Extendable: Yes, subject to satisfactory performance

3. Terms & Conditions

The following conditions apply to all applicants:

(i) Application Method
Applicants must review the detailed Job Description (TORs) and apply online through the application form available in the Careers section at www.ndrmf.pk. Applicants are required to provide the requested information and upload scanned copies of their CV, CNIC, educational certificates, and experience certificates no later than 08 November 2026. Hard copies of CVs and supporting documents are not required.

(ii) Incomplete or Late Applications
Incomplete applications, or applications received after the closing date and time, will not be considered. No claims in this regard will be entertained.

(iii) Assessment Date and Experience Rules
Age, qualifications, and experience will be assessed as of the application submission date. Part-time, honorary, apprenticeship, and internship experience will not be counted toward the required experience.

(iv) HEC Verification
All candidates must hold qualifications verified by, or recognized as equivalent by, the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Candidates with foreign qualifications must submit the relevant HEC equivalence certificate(s). The selected candidate will be required to provide HEC-verified degree(s) before joining NDRMF.

(v) Remuneration and Benefits
NDRMF offers a competitive remuneration and benefits package. The appointment salary will be determined in accordance with NDRMF standards, taking into account the selected candidate's qualifications and experience.
