A leading energy company with a strong national footprint is seeking a dynamic and visionary commercial leader to re-energize the organization, modernize the brand, and drive an ambitious future strategy for the commercial function.
This is a critical senior leadership role, responsible for redefining long-term commercial success and ensuring excellence across key business areas.
Location: Head Office, Karachi
Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for:
Providing end-to-end leadership of the entire commercial function.
Strengthening and developing high-performing teams.
Setting strategic direction to drive growth, profitability, and organizational competitiveness.
Modernizing the company’s commercial outlook through innovation in branding, marketing, and sales.
Positioning the company as a top-performing energy brand in a demanding, rapidly evolving market.
Customer Experience
Design customer touchpoints as “Islands of Excellence” to contribute to an exceptional end-to-end customer journey.
Product Strategy & Revenue Growth
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a strategic product roadmap.
Sustain existing revenue streams while identifying and developing new opportunities.
Sales Leadership
Rebuild, upskill, and energize the sales force.
Foster a culture of passion, discipline, ownership, and performance.
Branding & Marketing Strategy
Revamp brand identity and market positioning.
Establish the company as Pakistan’s most modern, trusted, and customer-centric energy provider.
Performance Management
Set clear KPIs for all business units to maintain and enhance performance across the commercial function.
Market Expansion & Channel Strategy
Drive intelligent expansion of sales and distribution channels in new and existing markets.
Identify transparent opportunities across B2B and B2C segments.
Commercial Operations
Ensure efficient oversight of business development, leasing, and sponsorship activities.
Identify new commercial opportunities to enhance customer and stakeholder retention.
Experience & Leadership
Proven leadership in marketing, branding, sales, or distribution—preferably within the energy sector, FMCG, or other large-scale consumer-facing industries.
At least 20 years of professional experience in a large national or multinational organization.
Minimum 7 years of functional experience in a similar senior role, or one level below C-suite.
Educational Qualifications
Minimum 16 years of education.
Preferably a Master’s degree from a renowned HEC-recognized university or an equivalent foreign institution.
Preferred fields: Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a combination.
Technical & Commercial Competencies
Strong commercial acumen with proven financial leadership capabilities.
Deep expertise in marketing, direct sales, channel management, and contract negotiation.
Understanding of regulatory and legal matters is an added advantage.
Age Requirement
Preferably 45 years of age or younger on the last date of application submission.
