Applications are invited for the following position:
Position: Biostatistician (Islamabad Based)
CPSP is seeking a qualified and experienced Biostatistician to support research and academic activities. The selected candidate will assist researchers and postgraduate trainees in ensuring the accurate and effective application of statistical methods in medical and scientific research.
Key Responsibilities
-
Review and evaluate the statistical components of research synopses and proposals
-
Perform and verify sample size calculations
-
Provide guidance on study design and statistical methodology
-
Demonstrate strong expertise in SPSS software
-
Support researchers and trainees in data analysis and interpretation
-
Conduct professional training sessions in biostatistics
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics (Mandatory)
-
Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics / Epidemiology (Preferred)
-
Relevant experience in medical or clinical research
-
Strong command of SPSS software
-
Ability to conduct structured professional training sessions
-
Excellent analytical and communication skills
