The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) is a premier postgraduate medical institution in Pakistan, established in 1962. CPSP is dedicated to excellence in medical education, research, and professional development.
We are currently inviting applications for the following position:
Position: Biostatistician (Islamabad Based)
CPSP is seeking a qualified, competent, and experienced Biostatistician to support research and academic activities. The selected candidate will play a key role in strengthening statistical components of medical and scientific research conducted under the institution.
Key Responsibilities
-
Review and critically evaluate the statistical components of research synopses and proposals
-
Perform and verify sample size calculations for research studies
-
Provide guidance on study design and statistical methodology
-
Conduct statistical data analysis using SPSS software
-
Assist researchers and postgraduate trainees in the appropriate application of statistical techniques
-
Conduct professional training sessions and workshops on biostatistics
Required Qualifications & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics (Mandatory)
-
Master’s degree in Statistics / Biostatistics / Epidemiology (Preferred)
-
Relevant experience in medical or clinical research
-
Strong command of SPSS software
-
Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
-
Ability to independently conduct training sessions and workshops
