FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry

POSITIONS VACANT

Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry is a 470-bed, multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution. Fatima Memorial Dental Hospital, an affiliate of the College, is recognized for undergraduate and postgraduate training by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan in all major disciplines. It offers state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services through expert clinicians to patients from diverse backgrounds. Applications are invited for the following positions:

Associate Professor, Orthodontics

Qualification:

  • BDS, FCPS Orthodontics, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
  • Mandatory: One year or six months Diploma/Certification in Medical Education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in a PM&DC-recognized institution in the relevant subject.

Research Publications:

  • At least 9 research publications, of which 7 must be as Assistant Professor in peer-reviewed, indexed journals.

Associate Professor, Anatomy (Dental College)

Qualification:

  • BDS/MBBS with a postgraduate qualification (PhD/2 years M.Phil or equivalent) in the relevant subject.
  • Mandatory: One year or six months Diploma/Certification in Medical Education.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor in a PM&DC-recognized institution in the relevant subject.

Research Publications:

  • At least 9 research publications, with 7 as Assistant Professor in peer-reviewed, indexed journals.

Assistant Professor

Subjects:

  • Science of Dental Materials
  • Community & Preventive Dentistry

Qualification:

  • BDS with a postgraduate qualification (PhD/2 years M.Phil or equivalent) in the relevant subject.

Experience:

  • For PhD holders: 1-year teaching experience in a recognized institute.
  • For M.Phil holders: 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized institute.
  • Experience in teaching and training BDS and Dental Technology graduates is preferred.

Research Publications:

  • Minimum of 2 research publications in peer-reviewed, indexed journals.

Preference:

  • Candidates with experience in undergraduate medical education, research with high-impact publications, curriculum design, assessment, and use of technology will be given priority.

Additional Requirements:
For faculty positions of Assistant Professor and above, candidates must obtain an experience equivalence certificate from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PM&DC).
