POSITIONS VACANT
Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry is a 470-bed, multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution affiliated with Fatima Memorial Hospital. The hospital is recognized by the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) for postgraduate training in all major disciplines. It offers state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services and provides quality care to patients from all walks of life.
FMH CM&D invites applications from highly motivated, dedicated, and qualified faculty members, who are well-versed in modern learning strategies within an integrated curriculum, for the following positions as per Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) guidelines.
1. ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR
Department: Psychiatry
Qualification:
MBBS with FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
Mandatory: Minimum one-year diploma or certification in Medical Education.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as Assistant Professor in a PMDC-recognized institution in the relevant specialty.
Research Requirements:
Minimum 9 research publications, with at least 7 published during tenure as Assistant Professor in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
2. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR
Departments:
Anatomy
Biochemistry
Medical Education
Accident & Emergency
General Surgery
Medical Oncology
Family Medicine
Qualification:
MBBS with FCPS, M.Phil, or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of clinical or teaching experience in a PMDC-recognized institution.
Research Requirements:
Minimum 2 research publications in relevant subject published in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
3. SENIOR REGISTRAR
Departments:
Ophthalmology
ENT
Orthopaedic Surgery
Psychiatry
Dermatology
Cardiology
Pulmonology
Nephrology
Family Medicine
Accident & Emergency
Neurosurgery
Qualification:
MBBS with FCPS or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with a Ph.D. (where applicable), experience in undergraduate medical education, high-impact research publications, curricular development, assessment design, and educational technology will be given preference.
Note for Applicants (Faculty Positions – Assistant Professor and Above):
Candidates are required to obtain an experience/equivalence certificate from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) as part of the application process.
