POSITIONS VACANT
Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry, a 470-bed multi-specialty, tertiary care teaching institution, invites applications for the following positions. The college is recognized by the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) for undergraduate and postgraduate training in all major disciplines. It offers state-of-the-art clinical and diagnostic services through a team of clinical experts catering to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Position: Assistant Professor – Science of Dental Materials
Qualification:
- BDS, along with MDS/FCPS/Ph.D. or equivalent postgraduate qualification in the relevant subject.
Experience:
- For Ph.D./FCPS Degree Holders: One year of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- For MPhil Degree Holders: Two years of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in teaching and training BDS and Dental Technology graduates.
Research Papers:
- Minimum of two research publications in the relevant subject, published in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates holding FCPS in Prosthodontics are also encouraged to apply.
Position: Assistant Professor – Community & Preventive Dentistry
Qualification:
- BDS, with postgraduate qualification (FCPS/2-year MPhil or equivalent) in the relevant subject.
Experience:
- For Ph.D. Degree Holders: One year of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
- For MPhil Degree Holders: Two years of teaching experience in a recognized institution.
Research Papers:
- Minimum of two research publications in the relevant subject, published in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
Preference Criteria:
- Experience in undergraduate medical education, research, and curriculum design.
- Strong record of high-impact publications.
- Familiarity with modern assessment techniques and the use of technology in education.
Additional Requirements for Faculty Positions:
- For positions of Assistant Professor and above, candidates must obtain an experience equivalence certificate from the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).
