VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Medical Teaching Institute Khyber Institute of Child Health & Children Hospital Peshawar (MTI-KICH & Children Hospital) invites job applications for the following vacant posts on a contract basis.

SECTION A: MEDICAL / CLINICAL POSITIONS

01 Assistant Professor (Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Paediatric Endocrinology) 10 FCPS in Paediatrics or Paediatric Surgery (as applicable) OR equivalent international specialist qualification (MRCPCH UK with CCT in Paediatrics, or American Board Certification in Pediatrics/Pediatric Surgery). For subspecialties: accredited second fellowship/subspecialty board certification or equivalent advanced training. Must fulfill MTI Policy Board Regulations.
02 Assistant Professor (Radiology, Pathology Discipline) 04 MBBS or equivalent + FCPS or US Board certification or equivalent in relevant specialties. Must fulfill MTI Policy Board Regulations for the relevant level.
03 Specialist Registrars (Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Neurology, Paediatric Gastroenterology, Paediatric Endocrinology, Paediatric Surgery) 10 MBBS with FCPS or equivalent qualification attained in the relevant specialty during the last 18 months.
04 Medical Officers 20 MBBS or equivalent degree with valid PM&DC Registration. Preference: FCPS-II training completed in Paediatric Medicine / Paediatric Surgery / relevant paediatric sub-specialties.
05 Charge Nurse 40 Three years Diploma in General Nursing with 01 year specialty/midwifery certification OR BSN/Post RN BSN. Valid PN&MC License. Preference: Diploma/certification in Paediatric specialty/PICU/NICU; Experience in Paediatric, Paediatric Emergency, PICU, and NICU in a reputed tertiary care hospital.

SECTION B: ADMINISTRATIVE / SUPPORT POSITIONS

08 Supervisor Laundry Services 01 Intermediate / DAE from recognized board. Three (03) years relevant experience in public or private sector. Hospital experience preferred.
09 CSSD Technician 03 BS in Surgical with Diploma in CSSD OR Matric Science with Diploma in CSSD Technology from recognized Board. Minimum 02 years relevant experience in CSSD. Preference: computer literate candidates.
10 Electrical Technician 03 DAE (Electrical) from recognized Institute/Board. Two (02) years relevant experience required.
11 Tube well Operator 02 DAE (Electrical) from recognized Institute/Board. Relevant experience preferred.
12 AC Technician 03 DAE (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) from recognized Institute/Board. Two (02) years relevant experience required. Preference: experience in HVAC.
13 Generator Operator 02 DAE (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) from Govt. recognized Board/Institute. Two (02) years relevant experience required.
14 Dhobi / Washer Man 03 Matric with Two (02) years relevant experience. Preference: experience in hospital laundry department.
15 Plumber 02 Skilled; Diploma in Plumbing from Govt. recognized institute preferred. Three (03) years relevant experience required.
16 Carpenter 01 Skilled; Matric with Three (03) years relevant experience.
17 Mason 01 Skilled; Matric with Three (03) years relevant experience.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 
# Condition
1 The service of the incumbent shall be governed under the Medical Teaching Institution Act, 2015 (as amended) and the MTI Regulations made thereunder.
2 In case of appointment, the candidate will become a full-time institutional employee and must submit an accepted resignation from their current employer (local or foreign, including civil service of any Government).
3 The candidate will be disqualified/terminated if found committing perjury in documentation/credentials at any stage, even during employment.
4 The competent authority has the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process for any or all advertised positions.
5 Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview.
6 Any candidate may be disqualified/excluded from interview if: (a) convicted by a court of law; (b) has previous history of dismissal from any service; (c) knowingly furnishes false information or suppresses information; (d) attempts to obtain support by improper means; (e) submits forged certificates/tampers with documents; (f) misbehaves during interview.
7 No TA/DA shall be admissible for the interview.
8 Services of ETEA-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may be hired if deemed necessary, where the number of applicants is high and a screening test becomes essential.
9 Appointments shall be made under the MTI Grading structure.
10 Incomplete job applications shall not be entertained.
