The following vacancies are available in various constituent units of Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences which comprises Shalamar Hospital, Shalamar Medical and Dental College, Shalamar Nursing College & Shalamar School of Allied Health Sciences.

Positions Available:

  1. Assistant Professor - Biochemistry

    • Requirements:
      • Must have completed FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
    • Description: The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching, mentoring, and conducting research in the field of Biochemistry. This position requires strong knowledge in medical biochemistry, the ability to develop and deliver lectures, and conduct practicals. The candidate should have excellent communication and presentation skills.

  2. Post Graduate Trainees

    • Histopathology
    • Urogynaecology
    • Requirements:
      • Must have completed FCPS in Obs./Gynae.
    • Description: These positions involve hands-on training and learning in specialized fields. The trainees will work under the supervision of senior consultants and professors to gain practical experience and complete their specialized training.

  3. Senior Public Health Analyst

    • Qualifications:
      • Master in Biostatistics, Public Health, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university.
      • Minimum 5 years post qualification relevant experience in the public health sector.
    • Description: The Senior Public Health Analyst will be responsible for data analysis and interpretation using SPSS, R, and other analytical software. The candidate should have strong project management skills, experience in developing data dashboards, and the ability to present data creatively using Power BI and Tableau. The role also involves conducting public health research and providing strategic insights.

  4. Public Health Specialist

    • Qualifications:
      • Master in Public Health, Community Medicine, Epidemiology, or an equivalent related degree from an HEC-recognized university.
      • Minimum 3 years post qualification relevant experience in the public health sector.
    • Description: The Public Health Specialist will work on the analysis of health facility distribution and the services offered. They will coordinate outreach primary care programs and manage baseline analysis projects. The candidate should have experience in the development sector and in coordinating health programs.
