About the Organization (Description):

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), working under the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan, is one of the leading public sector organizations in South Asia. NADRA is responsible for maintaining the national database, issuing identity documents, and ensuring secure, transparent, and efficient digital identity services for citizens.

To strengthen its operations and continue digital transformation, NADRA is inviting qualified, experienced, and dynamic professionals to join its team at the Headquarters, Islamabad, for the following positions:

Available Positions (Details):

1. Director (National Database Management)

Location: NADRA Headquarters, G-5/2, Islamabad

Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.

Experience:

• Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in database design, administration, and management, preferably in large-scale organizations or public sector enterprises.

• Proven expertise in data architecture, database security, and high-availability systems.

• Strong knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or related database technologies.

• Experience with data migration, performance tuning, and replication in high-volume environments.

Age Limit:

• Maximum 50 years on the closing date of application.

2. Deputy Director / Assistant Director (Database Administration)

Location: NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Computer Science, IT, or Data Systems Management.

Experience:

• 5–8 years of professional experience in database operations and maintenance.

• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and database backup/recovery mechanisms.

• Hands-on experience with database clusters, replication, and failover systems.

3. Project Managers / IT Specialists (Digital Systems Development)

Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or Information Systems.
  Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience managing IT or software development projects in large public or private organizations.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification preferred.

4. Database Security & Compliance Officers

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science.
  Experience:

• 5+ years in database and information security management.

• Knowledge of ISO 27001 standards, data encryption, and access control systems.
