Qualification

Candidates must have 16 years of education in any of the following disciplines from an HEC-approved institution:

• Peace and Conflict Studies
• International Relations (IR)
• Media & Communication Studies
• Strategic Studies
• Cyber Security
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Data Science
• Software Engineering
• Computer Science
• Information Security
• Digital Forensics

Experience

• 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
• Experience in the following areas will be relevant:
  • OSINT
  • SOCMINT
  • GEOINT
  • Threat Intelligence
  • Digital Investigations
  • Online Research
  • Analytical Reporting
• Relevant international certifications will be considered an added advantage.

Relevant Skills / Responsibilities

The selected candidates may be required to work in areas including:

• Developing and managing AI/software applications.
• Media management and basic administration.
• Specialized knowledge of peace and conflict resolution.
• Narrative building.
• Counter-terrorism and counter-extremism.
• Research, analysis, and intelligence-related activities.

GENERAL INFORMATION / INSTRUCTIONS

1. Contract Period

The initial contract period will be six (6) months and may be made permanent subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.

2. Online Application

4. Authority's Right

NACTA reserves the right to:

• Not fill any vacancy.
• Reduce or increase the number of vacancies, if circumstances warrant at the time of final selection.

5. Candidates Already in Government Service

Candidates working in Public Sector Departments/Organizations must apply through the proper channel and submit a Departmental Permission Certificate (DPC) from their department/employer at the time of interview.

Failure to provide the required certificate will result in the candidate being disqualified from the interview.

6. Age Relaxation

In addition to the 5-year general age relaxation mentioned in the advertisement, further age relaxation may be admissible under the Relaxation of Upper Age Limit Rules, 1993.

7. Calculation of Age

The minimum and maximum age will be calculated as of the closing date for submission of applications.

8. Verification of Information

All information provided in the online application will be verified. If any false or forged information is discovered, NACTA reserves the right to:

• Cancel the candidate's candidature at any stage.
• Cancel employment even after appointment if the issue is discovered later.
• Initiate legal action against the applicant.

9. Test / Interview

Only short-listed candidates will be called for the test/interview.

Candidates may initially be allowed to appear provisionally, subject to detailed scrutiny of their eligibility according to the prescribed criteria.

10. TA/DA

No TA/DA will be admissible for the test/interview.

11. Last Date to Apply

The last date for submission of applications is 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained.

12. Security Clearance

Final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to security clearance from the relevant authorities.
