UHS starts Public Sector Colleges Admission Sessions MBBS/BDS in Punjab

Every Year the University of Health Science, UHS Lahore takes the responsibility of admission in MBBS and BDS programs throughout Punjab. The admission procedure starts just after the final examination session of higher secondary school certificate, HSSC or FSC pre-medical classes. The procedure of admission starts from the entrance exam. UHS conducted Medical and Dental College Admission Test, MDCAT on the 25^th of August, 2019. The university also has declared the MDCAT result 2019 on September 1^st, 2019 and now the further procedure of admission is going to start and through the below instruction you can find the admission guideline:

Eligibility Criteria

For both of the programs including the MBBS program and the BDS program the admission criteria same. Applicants are to inform that in order to be eligible for admission application process they must have secured at least 70% marks in higher secondary school certificate, HSSC and at least 60% marks are also required to apply for admission. The final percentage will be calculated from the aggregation formula which states as:

1. F.Sc. Pre-Medical/HSSC/ equivalent - 50%
2. Admission Test - 50%

The aggregation can be calculated when you add F.Sc. Pre-Medical/HSSC/ equivalent percentage and percentage of admission test and divide the obtained value into two (02).

How To Apply For Admission

Applicants are asked to match your profile according to the given criteria. If you consider that you are matching with it then go ahead and apply for admission. In order to apply a safe and secure admission must follow the below-given rules and instructions:

1. Applicants are to inform that UHS allows submit the online admission application form and the rest of the procedures such as by hand or manual applications will not be accepted.
2. Applicants will be required to give biometric verification and they will also be required to pay the processing fees.
3. Applicants after giving their biometrics will be required to wait for the approval of the aggregation merit list on behalf of which the further procedure will run.
4. Once, the aggregation merit list will be displayed the admission web portal will open or active again for further procedures.
5. After re-opening the web portal selection list will be displayed.
6. Applicants whose name will be displayed in the selection list will be called to appear for a further procedure such as submission of titian fee.
