The school education department has arranged the monitoring teams for the implementations of SOPs with the reference of the reopening of schools. According to the details, it has been cleared that these monitoring teams will monitor the implementations regarding the reopening of all private as well as public schools across the country. The teams will be comprised of the members of the divisional director of PEEF and district education officers. These teams will visit the schools before the final opening of them.
How Do The Teams Will Work?
The corona SOPs monitoring reports will be sent to the director of public instructions. After the reopening schools, the reports will be arranged and sent monthly. However, the reports of September will be sent before the reopening of schools. It has also been cleared that before the reopening of schools the corona tests of teachers and other staff will be accomplished. For this purpose, the request has also been sent to the health department.
Federal Education Minister's Decision
The federal education minister, Shafqat Mehmood said that under the closure of the schools for the last six months the education has borne the great loss. Moreover, the schools had also undergone a great loss because of the restrictions regarding decrement policy in the tuition fees. He addressed that the final decision, regarding the reopening of schools, will be taken on September 07th, 2020. He further remarked that, if Corona's situation improves, schools will open as scheduled.
