The Punjab Education Minister Dr Murad Raas on Wednesday made an important tweet regarding the reopening of the schools. According to the posted tweet by Education Minister all the private and government sector schools will open from September 15th, 2020. In his tweet he said that the government and private schools across Punjab will reopen from September 15th if the current situation due to corona improved in the country.
Punjab Government Formulate SOPs For Reopening of Institutes
As per the details, the Education Minister states that reopening of the schools is possible only if the Corona pandemic is brought under control. He further added that the Covid-19 SOPs are fully prepared to reopen the schools. All the parents will be informed soon regarding these Corona SOPs.

All Reports Regarding Reopening of Institutes Before September Are Baseless
Dr Murad Raas, in his tweet also states that all the news roaming around regarding the reopening of private or government sector educational institutes before September 15th, 2020 are totally baseless.

Inter-Provincial education Ministers Conference To Be Held Today
It is also important to mention here that Inter-provincial education minister’s conference on reopening of educational institutions closed because of the corona virus pandemic is expected to be held today on July 5th, under the chairmanship of Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood. It is expected that some important decision regarding opening the institutes will be taken in the meeting today.
For this purpose, School Education Punjab and Higher Education Department has completed its homework. Higher Education Department has decided to propose to open the educational institutes in the first week of September.
