PMC Announces the National MDCAT Result 2020

This year the medical and dental college admission test was held on the 29th of November by the Pakistan medical commission at the national level. PMC had appointed the national university of medical sciences as the examination authority of MDCAT. According to the PMC officials, 125,000 students were registered to take the medical entrance exam while only 121. 181 candidates appeared. The PMC has announced the result of the national MDCAT 2020 and 67,611 candidates have passed the test by securing more than 60% marks.  The MDCAT result  2020 has been issued and the candidates can check it by entering their roll number.

Protest Against PMC

Previously the candidates had announced to protest against the PMC as they had conducted the unfair MDCAT. May students claimed that there were many questions asked out of the syllabus. Moreover, the petition was also filed in the Sindh high court over the legality of the national MDCAT 2020. But the PMC has finally declared the result for the MDCAT candidates. 

MDCAT Entry Test

MDCAT is conducted every year in order to determine the eligibility criteria of the students that are interested to join the medical field. Thousands of candidates appear in the entrance exam to secure admission in the medical and dental college. After the result announcement, the authorities will declare the admission schedule of the medical colleges so that the students can get admission as per the merit defined for the MBBS and BDS degree programs.
