Phone system inaugurated at Punjab University to guide students

    Lahore: Vice-chancellor of University of the Punjab Prof Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir on Friday has inaugurated the telephone exchange system at varsity’s Department of Examinations.

    The Controller Examination of Punjab University Prof Dr Shahid Munir, Additional Controller Shahid Javed as well as Additional Controller Muhammad Rauf Nawaz were also present in inauguration ceremony.

    The vice chancellor said that the aspirants who wished to inquire regarding exams, degrees, admissions can now dial 042-111-00-1882 for the guidance.

    He furthermore said that the telephone exchange was also connected along with the registrar and treasurer's office and the relevant calls will be transferred to both offices.

    The university had launched this facilitation centre in which hundred calls will be entertained at the same time he added. In future he said that more steps will be taken for the benefit of students.
