The National University of Science & Technology (NUST) is responsible for conducting entry tests or NET which are commonly known as National Eligibility Test. The purpose of NET is to access undergraduate students according to their field of education for further enrollment in study programs like Management Sciences, Engineering, Medical Sciences, and Information Technology. 

What You Need To Know About NET Series

All those students who were unable to clarify the NET test in the first attempt are informed that NUST is offering online registration for series two. If you lack the idea regarding the NET (National Eligibility Test) series you must know that each candidate is provided with three chances to clarify the NET test. Each attempt is considered as series as if the candidate fails in the first attempt or 1st series he/she will be given chance to qualify the test again in the 2nd series. However, if the candidates still fail the test he/she will be given last chance from NUST to clarify the test in the third attempt or in the 3rd series.

Eligibility Criteria Of NET

In order to apply for the NET, all applicants who are undergraduate must know regarding the NET Eligibility Criteria which is as follows.

  1. All undergraduate students who have scored a minimum of 60% marks in matriculation and intermediate are eligible to apply for NET
  2. All students with foreign qualification can apply for the test on the basis of the certificate provided by the IBCC (Inter Board Committee of Chairman) with at least 60% scores
  3. The Diploma holder or DAE students who have obtained 60% marks can apply for the study program of engineering
  4. All students must know that the university will only provide admission to students who will qualify on merit basis.

Ineligibility Criteria Of NET

  1. According to NUST NET Ineligibility Criteria, all those students who were unable to pass any paper in intermediate including part-1 and part-2 will not be allowed for the registration of the NET test.
  2. Likewise if the students of foreign qualification O/A Levels who failed to score less than 60%
  3. The students who were restricted from the university due to incapability of the following discipline are ineligible.

Online Registration Process Of NET

  1. The students who want to apply through NET Online Registration requires to visit the official website of NUST.
  2. It is compulsory to use a valid email ID and fill all required information on the online registration form
  3. Students are required to submit the fee charges and the required documents and thus will be allocated with roll number, login ID, etc.

All students are informed that the last date for submitting online registration forms for enrollment in 2nd series of NUST NET is 3rd March 2020.
