NUMS Admission Procedure 2019 of MBBS & BDS for Centralized Private Medical & Dental Colleges Under Military Control Open and Foreign seats

All candidates who are waiting for MBBS & BDS admissions by NUMS in centralized Private Medical & Dental Colleges (Under Military Control)  .The National University of Medical Sciences Islamabad has announced these admissions on specific criteria. Those students who will fulfill the given criteria would be eligible for the admission.

Eligibility Criteria For Open Seats

1. Minimum 70% marks, in higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum of twelve years of education.
2. Minimum 65% marks, F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum of twelve years of education for candidates having domicile of Balochistan
3. Entry Test of MDCAT must be passed  with 60% marks or (120/200)
4. All Pakistani Nationals including citizens of AJK/ GB are eligible to apply for the open merit seat of Army Medical College Rawalpindi.

Eligibility Criteria For Foreign, Dual National or Overseas Pakistani Students

1. Minimum 70% marks, F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent from a foreign School/College/University examination having minimum twelve years of education in mainly three courses i.e. Biology, Chemistry and either physics or mathematics
2. Foreign national/ dual national/ overseas (being a Pakistani citizen permanently resident in a foreign country) Pakistani student, and who has studied and passed HSSC 12th-grade examination or equivalent from a foreign country must have a completed certificate of two years complete education. 
3. Entry Test Re-conducted on 6^th October 2019 by NUMS of MDCAT must be passed  with 60% marks (120/200) OR SAT-II Exam with minimum 550/800 marks each in biology, chemistry and either physics or mathematics or a foreign MCAT must be passed with 500/528
4. SAT- II marks notified prior to the date of 25^th October 2017 will not be accepted by the authorities
5. Equivalence by IBCC (in case of foreign qualification).
6. Candidates must have passed TOFEL and ILETS with a minimum score of 500 or 5.5 or having one year certificate of English language from NUMS (for students who have not gained prior education in English)

Reserved Seats For the Candidates Of Balochistan and Gilgit Baltistan

1. Candidate should have local/Permanent resident domicile of Balochistan
2. Candidate must have passed and scored 65% marks, in higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum of twelve years of education who belongs to Balochistan.
3. Candidate must have passed and scored 70% marks, in higher secondary school certificate (HSSC) or F.Sc (Pre-medical) or equivalent examination having minimum of twelve years of education who belongs to Gilgit Baltistan.

Minimum Aggregate Percentage% for the admission Seats

1. The minimum 70% Aggregate for MBBS is required.
2. The minimum 60% Aggregate for BDS is required.

1. The registration of online admission starts from Tuesday 5^th November 2019
2. The last date of submission of online admission is Friday 15^th November 2019 (4 pm)
3. The Hafiz-e Quran Test is going to conduct on 18^th November 2019 and 19^th November 2019 (Monday and Tuesday)
4. The date of display of the first merit list is Monday 25^th November 2019
5. The date of display of the second merit list is Wednesday 4^th December 2019
