Latest Announcements – May 2026 Update:

NUMS is one of top names in Pakistan which is respected for its academic and scientific achievements in the field of medicine. It is a university with a huge diversity of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, focused on medicine and various health disciplines. The selection of candidates for NUMS is conducted with very high standards with extremely strict conditions as criteria to reject candidates who do not merit the opportunity, hence the enrollment of competitive educated students. Before moving further with National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), the applicants are supposed to have academic requirements specified by NUMS for each program, which normally also includes the tests of eligibility such as entrance tests and interviews.

NUMS MDCAT Admission Dates 2026

NUMS has announced the official date for the MDCAT Test 2026 which will commence on August 23rd, 2026 (Saturday) .

• Online registeration for entry test starts on May 18th, 2026 (Monday) .
• The last date to apply is June 8th, 2026 (Monday) .
• Online registeration with late fees will end on June 15th, 2025 (Monday) .

Registeration Fees 2026

• The registeration fees for MDCAT entry test is Rs.7,500/- (Non-refundable / Non-transferable)
• The late registeration fees for MDCAT entry test is Rs.8,500/- (Non-refundable / Non-transferable)
• The registeration fees for international centers is Rs.40,000/- (Non-refundable / Non-transferable)
• The late registeration fees for international centers is Rs.50,000/- (Non-refundable / Non-transferable)

Eligibility and Basic Requirements

• Applicants who hold Pakistani citizenship, including Overseas Pakistanis, Dual Nationals, and Foreign Nationals, are eligible to take the NUMS MDCAT 2026.
• Students who have completed or are currently awaiting results for FSc, HSSC, A-Levels, or Grade 12 examinations may also apply for NUMS MDCAT 2026.
• Candidates younger than 18 years must possess a valid Juvenile Card issued by NADRA.
• The NUMS MDCAT 2026 scheduled for 23 August 2026 will be the only entrance test accepted for admission to MBBS and BDS programs for the 2026–27 academic session at NUMS constituent colleges, affiliated institutions, and all medical and dental colleges administered by the Armed Forces.

Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs

NUMS provides an abstract as a wide range of undergraduate programs such as the MBBS, BDS, BSN, and BSBS or Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Postgraduate research studies are offered by NUMS in the form of MPhil and PhD in various medical specialties and allied health sciences like surgery, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, nursing, etc.
