Lahore: On Tuesday, 50 Pakistani students along with their school teachers on an exchange programme to India were sent back to Lahore after they received threats from the extremist organizations.

As per the reports by Indian media, the aspirants who reached India on May 1st, 2017, were sent back to the homeland within a day, after the threats were made to the host NGO for inviting the Pakistani students.

Allegedly, the NGO has been advised by the officials of Indian government that the time is not suitable for exchange programme.

The aspirants were threatened by the Hindu separationist Shiv Sena, after ties between the two countries get worse.

The aspirants were a part of the cultural exchange programme and they were on a 5-day visit to India.

The aspirants after the threats from extremists were frightened and remained inside their rooms.

On Tuesday, the aspirants reached the Wagha border safely.

A student spoke to the media sources, describing the suffering the aspirants went through.

“We were having our dinner when the disturbance was created and our head announced that we were move to Pakistan tomorrow, every person was surprised as we were scheduled to go to Agra to see the Taj Mahal tomorrow, we were truly terrified after the announcement,” she added.

The conflicts among the two states flared again on Tuesday when India blamed Pakistan for killing as well as hurting the bodies of two Indian soldiers crosswise the Line of Control.

The Pakistan Army had firmly rejected the charges of Indian Army of killing two members of Indian army squad near Line of Control.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement: “The army of Pakistan did not commit any armistice violation on the Line of control or a BAT action in the Buttal sector (Indian Krishna Ghatti Sector) as claimed by India. Indian blame of harming the bodies of Indian soldiers is also wrong”.
