Peshawar: Habib Bank Limited (HBL) presented a cheque of Rs 5 million to the Islamia College, Peshawar, to offer scholarships to the poor and needy students.

The regional Operational Chief Tauqeer Mazhar together with Irfan Raheem, branch manager university campus of the Habib Bank Limited, gave the cheque to Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Islamia College University Dr Naushad Khan.

 The pro-vice-chancellor thanked the HBL for the kind gesture. The other officials of the university were also present there.
