Today Facebook has announced the addition of Snapchat like augmented reality filters for its live videos. These filters utilize the algorithms developed by MSQRD, a comparatively famous selfie app, which Facebook acquired some time ago.

Starting along with the Halloween-themed skeleton, witch, and pumpkin masks, Facebook is providing a lot of users the option to use these filters while going live.

Facebook claims that these masks will initially be limited to iOS users in United States, United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and public figures on Facebook Mentions for iOS.
Though, it plans to expand its support to Android devices and more countries in few months
