Australia announces video competition, study trip for Pakistani students

Islamabad: The Australian Trade and Investment Commission has invited the Pakistani schools to participate in the Pakistan Schools’ Video Competition 2017 and get a chance to win a study trip to a top leading university of Australia.

To participate in the competition students are required to submit the short films on the theme of ‘Internet of Things’ (IOT).”

The main objective of this competition is to increase the horizons of aspirants from Pakistan and introduce them along with the latest study options, especially in fields that are associated with the career of the future.

Every school can nominate a team of 2 aspirants and one teacher. The winning team will get a chance to visit the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

The Australian Trade and Investment Commission will cover all the expenditures including return flights, accommodation as well as travel expenses for the winning team.

We wish good luck to all the students and look forward to having the winners in Australia very soon,” Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner South Asia, Australian Trade and Investment Commission Ms Leonie Muldoon said.

A webinar on video production, containing the Australian experts, would be conducted for schools and students across the country in March 2017 to train the partakers on film making and production. 

The last date for the submission of videos is June 30^th, 2017.
