Follow the directions. Provide everything that is required for the scholarship. Though, do not supply things that are not demanded for scholarship, as you could be disqualified on presenting additional unnecessary material.
Neatness and elegance also counts. Always fill your application form, or if you must print do it gracefully and legibly. Make some photocopies of all the forms before you fill them. Use these photocopies like working drafts because you develop your application packet.
Write an essay that may last a strong impression. The main thing to writing a strong essay is to be personal as well as particular.
