No Need To Go Abroad! Karachi Historical Places are Best Source of Recreation!!



In this busy life every one want a peace for this many people go for recreation along with family and friends. Karachi is the largest city of Pakistan and has a great number of population mostly the people of Karachi select the historical places for the recreation to refreshing their minds and body after working whole week. There are many recreation places are located in Karachi such as amusement parks, play-lands. People love to go to Karachi Beach, Mazar-e-Quaid, Aladin Park, Sindbad, Hill Park, etc. The citizens of Karachi always select these historical places for the recreation.

Manora Islands:

Manora Island is the best recreation place for the Karachi citizen as well as the whole Pakistanis to have a fun with a lot of joys. It is located just south of the Port of Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Manora and neighboring isles make a guarding boundary between Karachi harbor to the north and the Arabian Sea to the south.

Karachi Bay and Beach Towns:

Along with the Karachi bay there are various historical and recreational place are located where many ethnic combinations including Muhajirs, Punjabis, Sindhis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, Bohras, Ismailis, etc are sited. Among all the towns of Karachi bay Salehabad is a historic accustomed fishing village on the headland.

The Manora Light House:

One of the most emphasized & a prominent wonder of Manora Island is Light House which is about 91 feet high it was publically opened in 1889. You can see the light from up to 20 nautical miles away in a clear night. It is the best recreational place for the citizens of Pakistan.

St Paul’s Protestant Church:

Neighboring to the light house is a insignificant Protestant Church named as the St Paul’s church. It is older than light house and was anointed in the year 1865. It looks like simple when we see outside but the interior wooden work is superb.

Shri Varun Dev Mandir of Manora:

Shri Varun Dev Mandir on Manora seashore is not in good condition. Because the sea breeze is destroying it there are not preservation mechanisms of this historical place. Protection and extraordinary care of this historical milestone is a high petition of present time. On the other hand still many people use to visit this historic Mandir and there are a relatively big number of people over there.
