 The MBA program started in Punjab University in 1995. The program of MBA is being offered at Punjab University’s Institute of Business Administration (IBA). The program was started to meet the growing need of business graduates in Pakistan. Considering the importance of MBA degree worldwide, IBA is delivering career focused and research based education to its alumni so that they can have skills and knowledge equivalent to international standards.

Institute of Business Administration (IBA) is Pakistan’s most sought after and reputed Business schools. The institute has earned several awards for its performance and is recognized by international academic calculators and critics. It is inculcating, a rigorous training of managerial skills, ethics and critical thinking with intention of developing the business sector of Pakistan.

The students are bound to submit research papers in the 7^th semester of MBA program. The admission criteria of all programs being offered at Punjab University are merit based and entry tests are also made compulsory except a few departments.  The department has one of the most educated and experienced teaching faculty of Punjab University which adds to its expertise.

The MBA program at Punjab University is semester wise and consists of 3.5 years time span. Although, the Institute of Business Administration in Punjab University was established in 1972. But its progress and achievements have been commendable. The institute has well stocked library and a computer lab containing high tech computers.  The teaching faculty of the institute has adopted novel teaching techniques and methods. The institute religiously organizes seminars and conferences to build the confidence of its alumni.
