Larkana board is one of the educational entities working under the directives by the Sindh education ministry. The board of education is responsible for conducting the annual examination at matric as well as intermediate levels of education. For matric class part I, 9^th class students the board of education schedules the annual examination in February, and in a month the examination session is completed. However, in July or August, the 9^th class result is announced. But, the year 2021 is entirely different than the previous schedules. In 2021, all the educational activities are completely halted and no exams are conducted for all the classes.

Out of the largest boards of education, the board of intermediate and secondary education, BISE Larkana is considered as the one. The reason behind it is that the board of education covers a large number of areas and jurisdictions. The government of Sindh directed the board of education to cover the educational activities of the areas:

1. Larkana District
2. Kamber and Shahdad Kot District
3. Shikarpur District
4. Jacobabad District
5. Kashmore District
6. Dadu District
7. Khairpur District    

Almost all the schools from these areas are linked with BISE Larkana and the board of education, from registration to 9^th class annual result, performs all the duties under a satisfying environment.

BISE Larkana: A Brief Introduction

Larkana board of education was created in 1995. The government of Sindh has created the board to perform several functions including registration, exams, paper checking, and result announcement of matric and intermediate classes.
