ICom stands for Intermediate in Commerce. It’s a two-year HSSC programme in the commerce group: Part 1 is the first year (11th class) and Part 2 is the second year (12th class). BISE Bannu conducts the exam and issues the result for colleges in its districts. Your final intermediate status is decided at Part 2.
Result day traffic is heavy and the site can crash or crawl. That doesn’t mean your result is missing. Wait a few minutes, or switch methods.
Type your roll number in a new message and send it to 9818, the code reported for KP boards this cycle.Make sure the number you type has no spaces or extra characters.
The gazette is the board’s full result list in PDF. Download it, press Ctrl + F (or “Find in page” on mobile) and search your name, father’s name or college. Colleges also use the gazette to review their whole class at once.
The gazette search above is your best route. Your college office can also look you up.
Check the basics first: right class (Part 1 or Part 2), right year (2026), right session (Annual-I). Then try the SMS or the gazette. If your name, group or subjects look wrong, contact your college first and then the board office. Don’t pay anyone who offers to “find” or “fix” a result.
Boards across Pakistan are moving to the IBCC framework: a 40% pass mark instead of 33%, and a 10-step grade scale. The rollout is phased. At HSSC level it starts with Part 1 in the first annual exam of 2026, and FBISE’s notice puts Part 2 from 2027. Some outlets report that Bannu’s 2026 DMC already uses the new scale and replaces “Fail” with “Unsatisfactory (U).” Treat your DMC as the final word on how your own result is graded.
Reports for this cycle mention a 15-day re-totalling window from the announcement. Counting from 22 September, that would end around 7 October, so it may already have closed. If you think your marks were added wrongly, contact your college and the board right away.
Regular candidates normally receive their original DMC through their college, and private candidates through the arrangement the board announces. Download the e-DMC if the board offers it, and keep a printed copy.
Most commerce students look at BCom, BBA, associate degrees, or professional tracks like CA and ACCA. Each has its own entry marks, so check your DMC and the admission notices of the institutions you’re targeting. Watch the board’s next notice for supplementary or improvement exams too.
