University of Sargodha, Sargodha – Situations Vacant (Hostel Fund Paid) 01/2025

The University of Sargodha invites applications from Pakistani nationals for the following temporary positions in Boys and Girls Hostels:

1. Store Keeper (Hostel Fund Paid)

• Nature of Job: Purely Temporary

• Quota: Open Merit

• Age Limit: Men/Women 21 to 35 years

• Number of Posts: 5

• Qualifications & Experience:

  • Option A: Graduation from a recognized university (Second Division) with 5 years’ experience in storekeeping.

  • Option B: FA/FSc (Second Division) with 10 years’ experience in storekeeping.

2. Hostel Attendant (Male/Female) (Hostel Fund Paid)

• Nature of Job: Purely Temporary

• Quota: Open Merit

• Number of Posts: 8 (4 Male, 4 Female)

• Age Limit:

  • Male: 18 to 30 years

  • Female: 25 to 40 years

• Qualification: Matric

• Preference: Candidates of good health and character will be preferred.

3. Helper/Cook (Hostel Fund Paid)

• Nature of Job: Purely Temporary

• Quota: Open Merit

• Number of Posts: 3 (Male)

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years

• Qualification: Should be literate

• Preference: Trial-based; candidates with good health and character preferred.

4. Sweeper (Hostel Fund Paid)

• Nature of Job: Purely Temporary

• Quota: Open Merit

• Number of Posts: 1 (Female)

• Age Limit: 18 to 30 years

• Qualification: Should be literate

• Preference: Candidates with good health and character will be preferred.

5. Plumber (Hostel Fund Paid)

• Nature of Job: Purely Temporary

• Quota: Open Merit

• Number of Posts: 2 (Male)

• Age Limit: 21 to 35 years

• Qualifications:

  • Option A: Middle Pass

  • Option B: Skilled worker with 3 years of experience

• Preference: Candidates with good health and character will be preferred.

General Instructions:

1. After complete scrutiny, only eligible candidates will be called for the test/interview.

2. Candidates must submit a separate application form for each post along with:

   • Verified copies of educational certificates

   • CNIC

   • Experience certificates

   • Two passport-size photographs pasted on the form

3. Employees of government, semi-government, and autonomous bodies must apply through proper channels before the deadline; otherwise, their applications will not be accepted.

4. For Serial No. 01, a challan of Rs. 1000, and for Serial No. 02, a challan of Rs. 500 must be submitted.

   • Challan should be in the name of Treasurer, University of Sargodha (Hostel Paid Employees).

   • Applications without a paid challan will not be accepted.

5. Last Date to Apply: June 16, 2025, by 04:00 PM

   • Submit applications to the Chairman, Hall Council Office by the due date and time.

6. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

7. No TA/DA will be given for the interview.

8. Salary will be paid according to hostel rules.

9. Number of posts can be increased or decreased as per requirement.
