GOVERNMENT OF SINDH – PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

JOB OPPORTUNITY

The Planning & Development Department of the Government of Sindh focuses on policy, planning, and development in the province. It processes all development schemes, prepares and proposes projects, and monitors the progress and evaluation of development schemes. The department works with foreign agencies through National Planning agencies, coordinates reports, and manages donor allocations with HEC.

Applications are invited for positions mentioned below on a contract basis for a period of two (02) years, which will be extended based on satisfactory performance and need, for candidates domiciled in Sindh Province.

1. Team Lead Technical (Environment) (PPS-10)

Required Qualification Master's degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Economics, Climate Change, or any other relevant field with at least 17 years of experience in the relevant field in Private or Public Sector. Must have completed at least 03 carbon financing enabling projects in the last 06 years.
Age Limit 55 Years
Core Competencies Proven track record in managing large-scale projects, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge of international Climate Finance mechanisms.

2. Project Development & Private Sector Engagement Specialist (Energy & Waste) (PPS-10)

Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, Development Studies, or social science disciplines from a HEC-recognized University.
Age Limit 21-25 Years
Core Competencies Research and analytical skills, report writing, communication, data handling, proficiency in MS Office, and willingness to work in the field.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Domicile: Only candidates domiciled in Sindh Province are eligible to apply.

  2. Contract Period: The contract is for a period of two (02) years, extendable based on satisfactory performance and need.
