Vacant Positions

Applications are invited from eligible male and female candidates holding domicile of Sindh Province for appointment against the following vacant posts in the Office of the Official Assignee, Karachi, Government of Sindh.

Applications must be submitted within 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Candidates must meet the required qualifications and experience as detailed below.

Position Details

1. Stenographer

  • BPS: 16

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 18–28 years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Graduate from a recognized university.

    • Must possess shorthand speed of at least 80 words per minute and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

    • Must hold a certificate in shorthand/typing from an institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE) or a relevant Board of Technical Education.

2. Junior Clerk

  • BPS: 11

  • Number of Posts: 01

  • Age Limit: 18–28 years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Graduate (at least Second Division) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

    • Must have basic computer knowledge.

3. Record Clerk

  • BPS: 11

  • Number of Posts: 02

  • Age Limit: 21–28 years

  • Qualification & Experience:

    • Graduate (at least Second Division) from an HEC-recognized university.

    • Must have completed a six (06) months MS Office certificate course from an institute recognized by Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

Mandatory Testing Requirement

Applicants must have passed the Graduation Category Screening Test conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS) with a minimum of 40% marks and must possess a valid score certificate issued by STS, as required for the above-mentioned posts.

General Conditions

  1. Age calculation shall be determined in accordance with the policy, rules, and notifications issued by the Government of Sindh (Services, General Administration & Coordination Department).

  2. Quotas reserved under Government policy (including women, minorities, and differently-abled persons) will be strictly observed.

  3. Candidates already in Government service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department and produce the original NOC at the time of interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.

  4. Appointments will be made in accordance with the recruitment policy announced by the Government of Sindh dated 26-04-2023 and 21-11-2025, and under the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973 (as amended from time to time).

  5. Candidates must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee with original documents as per the interview schedule uploaded on the official Job Portal.

  6. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
