MINERAL DEVELOPMENT

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC) is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), Government of Pakistan. PMDC is responsible for the exploration, mining, and marketing of various minerals.

PMDC invites applications for the following post on open contract / permanent basis.

POSITION DETAILS

 
Position No. of Post Qualification Experience Age
Maintenance Lead / Sr. Associate 01 Post Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) from a HEC recognized institution Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience in electrical/mechanical operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, preferably at mining, industrial, or heavy engineering sites Maximum 40 years on the last date of application submission (Age relaxation admissible as per applicable rules)

PREFERENCE

  • Candidates having domicile of Balochistan will be preferred.

PLACE OF POSTING

  • PMDC Project / Mining Site, Balochistan

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Plan, coordinate, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment and project facilities.

  2. Ensure equipment availability, timely troubleshooting, and minimum operational downtime in coordination with production and mine engineering teams.

  3. Prepare and monitor maintenance schedules, inspections, records, and reports, and supervise maintenance staff and contractors.

  4. Conduct root cause analysis, identify process and cost improvements, and ensure compliance with safety requirements and approved SOPs.
