Job Opportunities for PSDP-Funded Project
Establishment of Federal SDGs Support Unit
The Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives is inviting applications for various positions under the PSDP-funded project titled "Establishment of Federal SDGs Support Unit." These roles are on a contract basis.
1. SOCIAL SECTOR SPECIALIST (PPS-10)
- Role: Develop and implement strategies in poverty reduction, food security, health, education, and gender equality sectors.
- Objective: Aim to reduce inequalities and enhance social welfare in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.
2. ECONOMIC SECTOR SPECIALIST (PPS-10)
- Role: Provide insights for economic growth, job creation, and poverty reduction.
- Objective: Support sustainable development through economic reforms and analysis.
3. ENVIRONMENT SECTOR SPECIALIST (PPS-10)
- Role: Design and implement projects promoting environmental sustainability.
- Objective: Address climate change and enhance natural resource management.
4. DATA/STATISTICS EXPERT (PPS-09)
- Role: Collect, analyze, and interpret statistical data to monitor SDG progress.
- Objective: Support evidence-based policymaking and transparent resource allocation for SDGs.
5. IT/DASHBOARD EXPERT (PPS-09)
- Role: Develop digital tools and dashboards for real-time SDG monitoring.
- Objective: Ensure data visualization and enhance access to information and innovation.
6. COMMUNICATION EXPERT (PPS-09)
- Role: Devise and implement communication strategies to raise awareness of SDG initiatives.
- Objective: Focus on public engagement and outreach for SDG projects.
7. ADMIN & FINANCE OFFICER (DDO) (PPS-08)
- Role: Manage administrative and financial operations.
- Objective: Ensure effective resource utilization, supporting transparent governance and financial sustainability.
8. RESEARCH ANALYST (PPS-08)
- Role: Conduct research on country and region-specific challenges related to SDGs.
- Objective: Guide SDG projects with relevant data on local challenges.
9. OFFICE ASSISTANT (PPS-05)
- Role: Provide administrative support for efficient project execution.
- Objective: Ensure proper documentation, communication, and coordination for institutional development.
