Project: Capacity Building and Institutional Strengthening of MoPD&SI

The Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives functions as the apex body and think tank of the Government, providing technical and professional processes for the formulation and implementation of socio-economic plans and policies.

The Ministry invites applications from experienced sector experts/specialists possessing relevant expertise in key fields to support the Planning Commission in effectively carrying out its mandated functions and delivering informed policy and knowledge inputs across various areas. Furthermore, applications are also invited from suitable and motivated Pakistani candidates for PMU support staff positions to assist in the efficient execution of project activities.

Employment Type: All positions will be filled strictly on a contract and market basis.

Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

1. Sector Specialists

All Sector Specialist positions carry a remuneration package of PPS-10 and require at least 10 years of experience in their respective fields.

Position Required Qualification / Education (HEC Recognized)
Procurement (01 Position) 16 Years Master's degree (or higher) in Finance / Procurement & Supply Chain Management / Business Administration or a relevant field.
Legal (01 Position) 16 Years Master's or Equivalent Degree or higher qualification in Law (i.e., LLB / LLM).
Population (01 Position) 16 Years Master's or Equivalent Degree or higher qualification in Demography, Population Studies, Public Health, Health Policy, Development Economics, Social Policy, or a closely related field.
Health (01 Position) 16 Years Master's or Equivalent Degree or higher qualification in Public Health, Health Policy, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Health Management, or a closely related field.
Multi-Sectoral Results Tracking (01 Position) 16 Years Master's or Equivalent Degree or higher qualification in Economics, Public Health, or any STEM field.
Data & Monitoring Systems (01 Position) 16 Years Master's or Equivalent Degree in Public Health, Demography, International Development, Education, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
