Recruitment of Soldiers in Pakistan Army

Registration & Recruitment Period:

  • Registration and recruitment for soldiers in the Pakistan Army will take place from March 3 to May 9, 2025.

Eligibility & Requirements

Nationality:

  • Married or unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Educational Qualifications:

  • General Duty Soldier / Military Police: Minimum Matriculation (10th grade) or higher.
    • For candidates from ex-FATA and children of martyrs, the minimum qualification is Middle (8th grade).
  • Nursing Assistant: Minimum F.Sc (Pre-Medical) with at least 50% marks.
  • Technical Trades: Minimum Matriculation (Science).
    • Higher education holders will be given preference.
  • Clerk: Minimum Intermediate (12th grade).
    • Candidates with computer skills or higher education will be preferred.
  • Driver: Minimum Middle (8th grade).
    • Preference will be given to candidates with driving experience and a valid license.
  • Sanitary Worker: Minimum Primary education.
    • Preference for experienced candidates.
  • Quota for Minorities is reserved as per government policy.

Age Requirements (as of May 10, 2025)

  • General candidates: 17 to 23 years.
  • Graduates (or higher education holders): Upper age limit relaxed by 1 year.
  • Martyrs’ families & injured war veterans' families, licensed drivers: Age relaxation of 2 years.
  • Ex-FATA and Balochistan candidates: Age relaxation of 3 years.

Height Requirements

  • General Duty Soldier & Military Police: Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).
  • Clerk & Nursing Assistant: Minimum 5 feet 3 inches (160 cm).
  • Sanitary Worker: Minimum 5 feet 0 inches (152 cm).
  • For candidates from Balochistan (non-Pashtun), ex-FATA, and Gilgit-Baltistan: Height relaxation of 2 cm.

Required Documents

  • Original and two attested copies of all educational certificates.
  • National Identity Card (CNIC) or Form B (for candidates under 18).
  • Domicile certificate.
  • Four passport-sized photographs.
  • Father's CNIC copy.

Selection Procedure

  1. Online Registration: Candidates can register online at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk from February 24 to May 2, 2025.
    • Online registration is not mandatory; candidates can also visit the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Center (AS&RC) or Regimental Center from March 3 to May 19, 2025 for registration.
  2. Examinations & Tests: Candidates will go through various selection stages after registration.
