Junior Commissioned Officer in the Pakistan Army

Recruitment for Army Education Corps

Eligibility / Requirements:

01 November to 15 December 2026 — Registration and recruitment will be conducted.

Selection Procedure:

Married / unmarried male citizens of Pakistan, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

Requirement: Junior Commissioned Officer (Army Education Corps).

Candidates may submit their applications on the prescribed form, which can be obtained from the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centres.

Age / Service:

The candidates' initial mental and psychological test will be held at the relevant Selection Centre.

For civilian candidates: 20 years as of 28 February 2027.

Candidates who qualify will undergo a written examination comprising English, Urdu, Islamiat, General Knowledge, History, and relevant specific subjects. Therefore, candidates must select one of the following subjects at the time of application:

For candidates aged 20 to 28 years, and for those who have previously served in the Army: 20 to 35 years with service of 1 to 16 years.

Height:

Minimum 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm).

Educational Qualification:

Candidates holding at least a BSc / Associate Degree in Science in the following subjects are eligible to apply. However, BS and MS qualified candidates will be given preference.

1 - Physics
2 - Chemistry
3 - Mathematics
4 - Biology (Zoology / Botany)
5 - Geography
6 - Computer Science
7 - Commerce

Candidates who pass the written examination will undergo the medical and interview stages.

Candidates may register by visiting the nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Office from 01 November to 15 December 2026.

Required Documents:

Original certificates along with two attested photocopies.

Four passport-sized photographs.

Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC).

Domicile and State Subject Certificate (for candidates from Azad Kashmir).
